Ken Sardoni is a passionate IT educator with a distinguished career in higher education and the IT industry. Prior to TestOut, he held executive management IT positions at Oracle and Steton Technology Group. Additionally, he held leadership, curriculum development, and faculty appointments at the University of Denver and the University of Phoenix, where he is currently an adjunct instructor and faculty council member. His current role at TestOut is to guide course development teams as they create TestOut's training products. He combines his extensive experience in tech and education to create products that help students gain skills that they can use to pass industry certification exams and qualify for careers in the IT industry. He holds a master's degree in computer information systems from the University of Denver and a bachelor's degree in computer science from BYU.
Johnny Carrera has worked in the IT field for 29 years. He started as a manufacturing engineer for National Instruments and later as a network administrator at a school district in San Antonio, TX. After mentioning to the principal that they should start an IT program, he was thrown into what became a 12-year teaching career at Holmes High School and then six years as a teacher for Rackspace’s Open Cloud Academy. Johnny is known for special passion and charisma that motivates and inspires underprivileged students to get certified and pursue jobs in IT. He consistently had classes with 100% pass rates on in-demand IT certifications as well as numerous students getting hired for high paying IT jobs out of high school. Dana Fellows has taught IT and computer networking courses to over 1,000 students in both high school and college in the state of Illinois. Always enjoying staying busy, he has maintained a dual career, working as a system administrator along with his teaching career and now working as an Instructional Designer for TestOut. His education highlights include a MS in Instructional Technology, MA in Education Leadership and numerous IT certifications such as MCSE, CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+, and Certified Ethical Hacker. He has received multiple awards over his teaching career, but he feels his biggest rewards of all is seeing his students, current and former, succeed and grow professionally.
Kelly Keetch is the IT Assessment Manager at TestOut, and for over twenty years has taught at Utah Valley University as adjunct faculty for the Information Systems and Technology department. He has a degree in Computer Science and has worked as a software engineer in web development. Kelly holds numerous IT certifications including CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, A+, Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), CTT+ Classroom Trainer, Linux+, Systems Support Specialist - CSSS, Novell CNA, CNE, Master CNI. He has co-authored numerous IT manuals and was recently published in Certification Magazine.
Kent Hansen is a seasoned educator and author who got his start teaching IT back in 1990 with WordPerfect 5.1. Since then, he has helped thousands of companies increase their IT knowledge and productivity. He has consulted and held technical certifications for CompTIA, Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix and has built and delivered both certified and custom curriculum solutions. More recently, he built a successful nationwide technical certification program for a large hospital software vendor. Kent loves developing content at TestOut and helping produce our videos. He loves classroom training and helping each student catch the vision and master their skills to help them become a more confident and capable IT professional.
Stevie George began working as an internal trainer a few years after her first job at Signetics, a circuits manufacturer. She then worked in various capacities at WordPerfect, Novell, Banta Publishing and Keystone Learning. At TestOut, she initially began assisting with sales prior to being asked to move into a training position to support TestOut customers. She has a passion for working with people and assists hundreds of instructors every year. When she isn’t assisting with training sessions, she is writing documentation, recording videos, and providing insights on how to enhance the experience for users. Stevie has been with TestOut for 20+ years.
Travis Wilde is passionate about cybersecurity education and helping schools create amazing programs to help fulfill the growing job demand in this field. He oversees the new growth sales for the Southeast US for TestOut and has helped many states and school districts create and implement cybersecurity programs. Travis enjoys connecting educators with each other and helping provide teachers the necessary resources to be successful in the classroom.
